Betty works in administration systems support at the Westport Physiotherapy and Acupuncture Clinic. She loves being able to help people, albeit in a small way and confidentiality is assured. Starting as a secretary with manual typewriters and shorthand notebooks, Betty has kept up to date with the changing landscape of the office environment and keeps the clinic's patient management stystem running smoothly. She participated in a Climate Resilience for Business course with GMIT, focusing her project on sustainable healthcare. Betty is an outdoorsy person in her free time, loves to travel and experience new cultures. In her day, she has achieved podium places in marathon running, adventure races and trail running events, more recently it's practicing yoga that keeps her on her toes. She went back to education as a mature student graduating in 2015 with a Bachelors of Arts Honours degree.
